SUMMER AT ELM

This summer our students are spread near and far, participating in both intensive music activities as well as other exciting adventures.

Chamber Music Camp

This summer, we will bring together 14 of our most motivated ELM students for this intensive, two-week camp with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. This year, for the first time we have invited non-ELM students to join the camp.

On the final day of the camp, students and faculty will perform for family and friends. Join us on July 25th at 5:30pm for our chamber concert here in our cul-de-sac.

Deer Hill Expeditions

Five ELM students will attend Deer Hill Expeditions, a three-week adventure camp in Colorado providing a blend of kayaking, backpacking and community service. We are grateful to ELM supporter Linda Mornell for recommending our students to receive full scholarships.

Cazadero Music Camp

Another four ELM musicians will attend Cazadero Performing Arts Camp, a sleep-away camp nestled in the majestic redwoods along the shores of the Russian River. Caz is truly magical. And the quality of teaching and musicianship are outstanding. Those who attend Caz return with markedly more confidence and lifelong friends so we work hard to provide these experiences for as many students as possible.

Call of the Sea

Twelve ELM students received full scholarships to Call of the Sea, a week-long day camp in which students sail on the bay in a tall ship while learning maritime skills.

UCSF PITCH

This year, 3 ELM students have been accepted to University of California - San Francisco’s PITCH (Program for Investigation and Training in Careers in Health) to explore careers in health or the sciences.

ELM provides youth with an immersive music education that empowers them to pursue their dreams and access resources they need to succeed in life.

ELM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our Tax ID is 46-3586448.

Thank you from all of us at ELM.
