Student Volunteers
We are looking for highly motivated high school junior and senior students to assist in our Saturday rehearsals. You should have 4-5 years of training on your main instrument. This is a tremendously gratifying way to share your skills and talents with enthusiastic and dedicated young musicians. The instruments we look for are: cello, violin/viola, clarinet, flute, trombone, and trumpet.
The intern will assist the main teacher in rehearsal setup and prep, will assist during group classes or play alongside other students during orchestra rehearsals. After shadowing your teacher for a few weeks, there may be opportunities to help with one-on-one practicing, orchestra coaching, or group class instrument instruction.
