We hosted our spring concert this year at the beautiful Marin School of the Arts in Novato. Our 1pm concert featured beginner and intermediate ELM students showcasing the Renaissance, movie themes, mother nature, and fiddle tunes.

We are excited to be back in person and performing at the Marin County Fair, once again! Join us for an afternoon as we celebrate music and community.

We’re delighted that our students and teaching artists shared such beautiful pieces of music with our community at our spring concert. Students performed works by Rossini, Vivaldi, Albéniz, and more!

Thank you to J-B Piano Company for hosting ELM’s first elmCATS recital. We enjoyed hearing solo pieces and chamber performances from our talented elmCAT students and can’t wait to hear more from this cohort of musicians!

We had a great time at this fun, friendly competition between twelve musicians who all vied for the crown of “favorite instrument.” In this delightful and interactive show, the audience gets to voted as each musician played a short solo from Michael Gilbertson’s charming piece “Jigsaw.”

We are proud to share highlights from our first live, Covid-safe concert at the Marin School of the Arts. We were so glad to be once again surrounded by our community of students, teachers, parents, and supporters. Watch our students play works from Tchaikovsky, Bizet, and more!

Our first annual 2-week intensive Summer Chamber Music Camp was so much fun for students and the energetic teaching staff from the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. We celebrated the achievements of the students with an outdoor concert at ELM, our first live performance since December 2019.

I hope you found the performances as inspiring as I did. I am so proud of the extraordinary work that our students and teachers completed this semester. The student all shone and seemed unfazed by being recorded, but I am pleased that this concert will be the last one that we will do entirely virtually.

Our 2nd Virtual Concert broadcasted on December 13, 2020 at 2-3pm PT. It ends with our 'All ELM' collaboration of Canon in D. The perfect piece for students at all levels and instruments including recorders, parent's on ukulele, and faculty. Each student recorded on their own or in small groups and our very own Matt Boyles (clarinet) synced the entire project into a beautiful display of artistry and excellence. Enjoy!

In lieu of a traditional concert, we hosted a virtual Spring concert. We will featured student solos, teacher performances, and other delightful engagements.
