COMING TOGETHER FOR EDUCATIONAL EQUITY
It’s been a tough two years on all of us but especially hard on our school aged children. The disappointing news is that teachers report that many students have lost over a year’s education. The good news is that there are trusted, effective, educationally focused nonprofits who are helping our most vulnerable kids. These organizations could help more students if they had greater funding.
One Percent for Education was founded in the Bay Area to facilitate financial and volunteer support for the best of these nonprofits. Building on the proof of concept generated by 1% for the Planet, businesses foundations, and individuals join as Members to pledge annual support for vetted, Nonprofit Partners.
Enriching Lives Through Music (ELM) is one of the Marin-based Nonprofit Partners.
